We have decided to keep the access closed for the season. We will remained closed unless the weather changes and things freeze up. I will keep posting and if something changes you will know. Our office at the Red House is closed due to little traffic so everyone must stop and go to our house on the hill to pay access.
The warmer weather coming this next week will start the making things sloppy out there and depending on how the bite is and amount of interest we might be closing the road 2020 cyprus poker for the season. There is a sign on the driveway to direct you.
Our access will remain closed for all traffic over the 2020 mille lacs slot limit. Keep watching the report.
We will update this as the weather changes ice conditions. The warmer weather could change things fast. Eddy and Cindy. We are starting to ramp things up at the marine business, so if you want to get your boat in and beat the rush for spring now is the time. Temps dropped some overnight and things froze up somewhat. If we do I will let you know on this report. Thank you to all of our customers for your patronage and looking forward to next season. And today will be closing the access for vehicle traffic. Tullibee action was slow from what reports I heard. Runners, paint, replacement of rotten wood, etc. Yesterday there was only one angler that went out for Tullibee and I did not hear any report from him when he left. A lot of you permanent skid customers need to make some improvements and general maintenance on on their houses this year. I will decide that on Sunday and let you know in the report. Things are starting to soften up on the ice and with the warmer weather it will probably start to get wet out there this weekend. But today tomorrow and Sunday the big warmup is starting so the melting will begin. Depending on how soft things get out there today and the next few days will decide for me whether we keep the access open or not. Depending on the weather, temps and angler participation we might close after this weekend. Not much to report for fishing as not many went out. If you do plan on coming up and fishing for Pike, make sure you get sucker minnows long before getting here as almost no one has access to them up here. So plan on a few trips up here to look it over and make repairs thru the summer.
